Graphic Design Major at Oakland Community College. I am working on an Entrepreneurship Certificate and transferring to the Adveristing: Design program at College for Creative Studies to receive my Bachelor's. My current GPA is a 2.91, planning to increase it to a 3.2.
Experience
I do not have an extensive teaching background; however, I've volunteered at Loving Elementary as an afterschool tutor for the Vanguard CDC growth program for a summer. It was a wonderful experience, sadly only lasted a few months. I also volunteer with the Girl Scouts of America, where I help the girls complete their activities and even complete their homework before the start of each session. I've been doing this for a few years now. I've watched the troop grow from Daisies to Juniors and it feels good to help them understand their work. I enjoy being a tutor because It feels good when my students look at me with their bright eyes and say "I get it now!!" Completed College and AP Courses: French 1 & 2, Calculus I, English Composition, AP Biology, AP English Language and AP English Literature, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Philosophy, Psychology, AP US History, AP World History, AP American Government, and more.
